Fire Whips Fire Whips are like other whips except that they are made entirely of fire proof materials, some of which act as wicking for fuel. Heartland's fire whips are made to be very durable and made to crack and handle as well as other high quality whips. HT's fire whips remain thick towards the tip to produce several good sized fireballs per fueling. The specific construction of a fire whip will reflect its intended usage. Fire whips are generally a circus prop but can be designed for use as a fire play implement. HT will design a whip to fit your needs. The fire whip you see here is 6 feet long. Rope wick is braided over a special core and then overlaid with Kevlar tape wick. The handle is 12" of copper and aluminum capped with a hardwood ball grip. The fall is hand-braided Kevlar and the popper is twisted Nomex. Prices: similar to nylon whips with additional costs reflecting cost of wicking material (pictured: $200). Order
